“Wall of Fades” is an event about Denim. With this “Wall of Fades” event, INDIGO (Indonesian Denim Group) will try to educate people that Denim is not just a pair of pants or material, but it is something so much more.
The Event will show people about denim, like how it is made, the evolution of a denim, beautiful faded jeans and many more.
Wall Of Fades 2009
We succesfully held the first Wall Of Fades last year on 5-6 December 2009 in Studiology, Kemang. The event was a really succesful one and swarmed with loads of denim lover and enthusiast appreciating the beauty of denim whether its in their raw state and also their worn-out phase.
Wall Of Fades 2010
The second event was held at Mitra Hadiprana Kemang. With bigger venue and more tenants, the event is really packed with people and is a really succesful one. This year’s exhibition mainly focused on emerging Local Denim Brand and the infamous first time INDIGO Denim Contest in Indonesia. The finalist and winner of the contest will be invited to show their faded jeans.
Wall Of Fades 2011
The latest installments of Wall Of Fades will come in the end of year 2011. It will feature a time-travelling concept with visualization as its main attraction. Expect yourself to travel from the early days of denim through other distinct era, as well as modern era.
