Kembali kita akan melakukan review jeans Blue Bell Made In USA yang kali bernama Blue Bell Jake. Setelah Blue Bell Pete yang memiliki cut slim-tappered dan Blue Bell Eddy yang memiliki anti-fit cut, maka Blue Bell Jake menawarkan cutting yang merupakan potongan regular straight. Detail yang ditawarkan cukup mirip dengan kedua jeans yang pernah kami review sebelumnya, namun yang agak berbeda adalah bahwa jeans ini sudah di rinse dan sudah terlihat fading pada beberapa bagian jeans ini.
Blue Bell Jake juga memiliki fitur yang hampir sama dengan kedua jeans Eddy dan Pete yang memiliki flasher berbentuk bendera Amerika pada backpocketnya. Dan juga desain backpocket yang sama dengan kedua jeans tersebut. Selain itu terdapat pula semacam koin yang digantung di beltloop dengan emboss “Blue Bell Made In USA†dan terdapat size celananya dalam format Waist/Length. Top button dan rivet yang digunakannya pun sama persis seperti kedua jeans tadi.
Sama seperti Blue Bell Eddy, Jake menggunakan bahan yang sama yaitu Right Hand Twill denim, bukan bahan legendaris dari Wrangler yaitu broken twill yang digunakan pada Blue Bell Pete. Produk ini merupakan raw/dry jeans yang sudah di rinse dan sedikit wash dengan bahan 100% cotton. Ketika kita pertama kali memegang bahannya, denimnya terkesan halus dan nyaman namun tetap memiliki tekstur yang menarik. Warna indigo pada denimnya terlihat sudah tidak segelap Blue Bell Eddy tentunya karena sudah dirinse dan wash. Denim yang digunakan pada produk ini juga merupakan raw selvage denim dengan selvage line berwarna merah. Selain itu kita bisa melihat crease yang sudah terbentuk dan juga fading-fading halus yang terlihat di beberapa bagian.
Pada bagian outseam jeans ini, digunakan konstruksi open seam sehingga selvage line akan terlihat ketika kita melakukan cuffing pada celana, sama seperti Blue Bell Eddy. Pada bagian inseam diselesaikan dengan double felled seam yang memang lazim digunakan pada inseam di produk-produk Wrangler Blue Bell. Jeans ini memiliki cutting yang straight dan terbilang regular tanpa tapper. Cocok untuk yang sedang mencari sebuah jeans straight dengan fit sedikit vintage namun tetap terlihat modern.

We review another Blue Bell Jeans and this time it’s Blue Bell Jake’s turn. We already know that Blue Bell Pete got a slim-tappered cut and Blue Bell Eddy got a slight anti-fit cut, this time Jake comes with a regular straight cut. The details in this jeans is similar to both Pete and Eddy and cuts being their main difference other than this jeans is already rinse and washed and we can see soft fading in some areas on the jeans.
Blue Bell Jake got that similar features and details shown in Eddy and Pete such as their iconic American flag flasher design in the backpockets. hey also got this coin with information about the waist size and inseam size. The top button used in this jeans is the same button that been used on both Pete and Eddy.
Just like Blue Bell Eddy, Jake use the same denim fabric which is Right Hand Twill denim, not their legendary broken twill fabric which has been use in many Wrangler products including Blue Bell Pete. This fabric is a rinsed and softly washed denim with 100% cotton as their main source. Upon our first touch and analysis, the denim feels soft and comfortable but still got unique texture and color. The indigo color in the denim is not as dark as Eddy, mainly because it’s already washed. This selvage denim with red selvage line also got a soft fade and creases formed through the washing phase in some areas.
This jeans use open seam construction for the outseam so that the selvage line will pop if we do some cuffing on the lower part of the jeans, just like Blue Bell Eddy. Double feld seam is used on the inseam and this seems to be on of the signature style of Wrangler Blue Bell. This jeans use button fly instead of zipper fly which been used in Blue Bell Pete. This jeans will fit people who search for a regular straight jeans with a bit of vintage cut feeling on it but still looks modern.
